Lepidolite
Lepidolite (K(Li,Al)3(Si,Al)4O10(F,OH)2) belongs to the mica group of minerals and is Earth's most common lithium-bearing mineral. Lepidolite is typically pale lilac in color, thus easily differentiating it from other mica minerals. Major occurrences are in the Ural Mountains of Russia, Sweden, Western Australia, Germany, Canada, Brazil, and some US localities. It is an important source of lithium, and is sometimes used to make glass and enamels.

It derives its name from the Greek lepidos, meaning "scale," and lithos, meaning "stone," a reference to how its flaky crystals are reminiscent of scales.

Metaphysically Known For: Emotional healing and balance, purification, serenity, relaxation, stress relief.
